Child Safety Standards

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Yah's Singles ("we," "us," "our") has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. This page describes the standards and practices we maintain to prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE on our platform, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.

Minimum age requirement

Yah's Singles is restricted to users 18 years of age and older. Date of birth is collected at account creation, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to hold an account. If we learn or have reason to believe an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it.

Identity verification

Members can complete selfie-based photo verification, which our team reviews by hand against their profile photos to confirm they are a real person and match who they say they are. Verified members display a verification badge, and verification is required to earn the "Serious" member badge. This adds a layer of accountability beyond a simple email sign-up.

Reporting mechanism

Every member profile in the app includes an in-app option to flag or report that member, available from anywhere their profile can be opened, including from a conversation. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team through an internal admin review system, and members found to violate our standards โ€” including anything related to child safety โ€” are removed from the platform immediately upon confirmation.

Compliance with law

We comply with applicable child safety laws. Where we identify or are made aware of apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or CSAE activity on our platform, we remove the content/account and report it to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline as required under U.S. law (18 U.S.C. ยง 2258A), and cooperate with law enforcement investigations.

Report a concern

If you encounter content or behavior on Yah's Singles that concerns you regarding child safety, please use the in-app report feature, or contact us directly at assistance@yahssingles.com. Reports are reviewed promptly.
