Yah's Singles ("we," "us," "our") operates the website yahssingles.com and the Yah's Singles mobile app (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

2. Information we collect
Account information: email address, username, password, date of birth, gender.
Profile information: photos you upload, answers to profile questions, location/city, and anything else you choose to add to your profile.
Verification information: a selfie photo taken through the app's camera feature, used to confirm you are a real person and match the identity of your profile photos.
Messages: the content of messages you send to other members through the app.
Payment information: if you purchase VIP or other paid features, payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) — we do not see or store your full card details ourselves.
Device and usage information: general technical information such as device type, app version, and how you interact with the Service, collected automatically.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Show your profile to other members and let you browse other members' profiles
- Verify your identity through selfie matching
- Enable messaging between matched members
- Process payments for VIP/upgrade features
- Maintain the safety and integrity of the community (for example, reviewing flagged profiles)
- Improve and maintain the Service
- Communicate with you about your account or updates to the Service
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these cases:
- With other members: your profile information (photos, answers, location/city, age) is visible to other members of the Service as part of its normal function.
- Service providers: companies that help us run the Service (such as hosting providers and payment processors like Apple and Google) may process information on our behalf.
- Legal reasons: if required by law, legal process, or to protect the safety of our members or the public.
- Business transfers: if Yah's Singles is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Your choices and rights
- You can review and update your profile information at any time within the app.
- You can delete your account and associated data at any time in the app under Profile → Delete my account, or at yahssingles.com/delete-account.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA (California) or GDPR (EU/UK), including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Children's privacy
Yah's Singles is intended for users 18 years of age and older only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has created an account, we will delete it.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International users
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers and service providers are located.
